About Bonding Source
Bonding Source was formed in February 2006 in response to a void in the market for quick delivery of materials used in microelectronics and RF/Microwave manufacturing. Epoxy and bonding wire manufacturers typically have a 2-5 week lead time. Film pre-forms may have a 6-7 week lead time. All pre-mixed frozen pastes and films have minimum charges of up to $1000.00 per line item. Wire is typically a $500.00 minimum charge. In addition, all epoxies have a limited shelf life and most have a -40c storage requirement.
The Bonding Source concept is based on 5 basic principles:
- Immediate Delivery. We can ship the same day you make your inquiry. All we need is a PO or a credit card number.
- No minimum charges. That’s right. You can buy one syringe, one sheet of film, one spool of wire, or one bonding tool, and that’s all you’ll pay for.
- We take all the risk. You’ll never have to worry about scrapping expired epoxy again. We buy the epoxy and wire directly from the manufacturers. Bonding Source takes all the risks associated with these limited shelf life materials.
- Great customer service. We want to sell you these products. You’ll get real-time quotes over the phone, with quotes in writing via fax or email. If you get our voicemail, we commit to a 2 hour reply. We can ship the same day, or can schedule shipments per your needs.
- Never sacrifice quality. We’re buying from the best brands in the industry and follow strict guidelines to ensure that you get products just as if you were buying directly from the manufacturer. You’ll receive a C of C with every shipment, and all shipments will be shipped on dry ice or cold packs in thermo-insulating coolers. Bonding Source has calibrated -40c freezers, a -5c freezer, a back-up freezer, and a generator with an automatic transfer switch. We ensure that all frozen materials meet the manufacturer's specification for storage requirements. Technical Data Sheets are on our website and MSDS sheets are also available if requested.
About the Manufacturers
Before we formed the business we approached the manufacturers and presented them with the idea for Bonding Source. The primary manufacturers are Ablestik, Emerson & Cuming, Epoxy Technology, SPM and Gaiser/Coorstek. All of the manufacturers approve of the Bonding Source concept, and are happy that we can bring their products to the market in a quick and economical fashion. They have worked with us to ensure we represent their products well, have given us guidance on products to stock, and technical training and assistance.

Although Bonding Source LLC is a separate corporation, it is owned by the same owner of IKE Micro, a microelectronics manufacturer. We have decades of experience in microelectronics manufacturing and processes, and hope that we can add value to your buying experience.
